Technology Blues

Mean while at lock central.........as I sit and write, it is and has been hot and muggy, The heat sometimes gets to me.
Recently our phone line was down. It had been giving us trouble. A whole day was spent trying to keep things rolling and that was when I realized that technology in all it's greatness and promise towards the future really does come with disappointment at times. It can be a real let down. Even if you pay your bill on time. You can't get there from here now applies.
I had wrote recently, in another article, about car alarms and all their great features that have revolutionized the modern world. Not!
When a car alarm goes off do you call police? Apparently there are more noise violation complaints about car alarms than ever before. They are annoying you would have to admit.
I was talking to a farmer the other day and he said he can't hire any kids to help do the haying this year. I can only suspect that kids have a lot of technology in their lives these days. He did say that he was only 86 years old and he was due to hit retirement age in four years. I should also mention that he said we were in drought conditions.
So as the heat of the summer keeps boiling away, I felt it would be nice to let off a little steam.
On the cool side of life I must admit the lock and safe adventures remain steady and I was going to do a blog about more six sided scenarios but I will have to leave them for another time. I lost a bunch of pictures and notes because I got the technology blues.
 Stay tuned!
